Hello and welcome to Dividend Growth Investing & Retirement (DGI&R).

DGI&R is probably best known for the Canadian Dividend All-Star List which is a free spreadsheet with an abundance of useful dividend screening information on Canadian companies that have increased their dividend for five or more years in a row.

Check out the links below to find out with I’m a dividend growth investor and where to start looking for dividend growth stocks.

Please note that I do not discuss tax-related topics and the articles posted on DGI&R are opinions and should not be considered professional financial advice. Please consult a professional financial planner before considering using the information obtained from the website.

A bit about me

At 21; with some help from like-minded investors, I started investing small amounts on a monthly basis primarily with traditional Dividend Reinvestment Plans (DRIPs). After learning the ropes, I started passing on the knowledge that had been shared with me by helping other beginner investors enroll in DRIPs. Despite being bombarded with questions, it was a great experience, it shortened my investment learning curve, and made me a better investor. This experience planted the idea of one day starting a blog.

I eventually moved on from DRIPs and developed a plan to use dividend growth stocks to help finance early retirement (I don’t really have the personality to just stop working, so a better choice of words would be financial freedom vs. retirement). It was around this time that I started the blog.
